What is this site not?
It is not Google Cloud Asset Inventory, not a hosted multi-project scanner, not a HeroDevs NES storefront, and not a guarantee your workloads will stay up. It is a local decision checklist with starter gcloud commands you run yourself.
Do custom containers get killed on 30 October?
Public guidance generally treats custom container images as outside Google-managed runtime decommission policy. You still own patching Node 20 inside those images. Classify each service before you assume “containers = ignore”.
Why not only paste the official CLI docs?
Official pages are authoritative but split by product. Teams get stuck choosing Functions vs Run vs GAE commands and mixing source with containers. The matrix forces that fork, then emits the matching starter commands.
Is anything uploaded?
No. Selections stay in your browser. There is no project-ID form that posts to a server. Use your own terminal for gcloud.
Should we buy extended support instead of migrating?
That is a business choice this site does not sell. Inventory and classify first; then compare migrate vs any paid extended-support offer using your own risk model.
